(中文)本課程之目標在瞭解水之時間與空間上分佈及其轉換，並推估各種水文量提供工程上之應用。

(Eng. )The purposes of this course are to understand the distribution of water in time and space and transform of water as well as to estimate their quantity for use in engineering.

(中文)水文學許多科學之應用，包括氣象學、植物生理學、土壤物理學、地質學及數學科學(如：流體力學、機率與統計與系統分析)，本課程主要在學習這一些主題在水文與水資源應用上的一些基本處理方法。

(Eng. )Hydrology draws on a number of sciences such as meteorology, plant physiology, soil physics and geology, and a number of mathematical sciences such as fluid mechanics, probability and statistics, and systems analysis. The course includes a basic treatment of these subjects in the context of hydrological and water resource applications.
